Every person dreams of having his or her own garden at least once during his or her life. You need to have a garden rake. A garden rake is different than the rake you will use to gather leaves and larger objects around your front yard in the fall. The garden rake is much shorter and sturdier than the other type of rake and it has teeth that are made out of (usually) steel. Even if you only have a small patch of garden in your yard, a pitchfork is a wonderful tool to have on hand. Pitchforks will do the same things that trowels and spades do but they do it bigger. You can use your pitchfork to turn your soil around, increase the oxygen flow to that soil and move your compost around. As compost breaks down it will need to be turned—this is something that only a pitchfork can do easily and quickly. To keep the compost from losing its value and forming a gross, crusty shell use the pitchfork to turn it often.

Gardeners dig holes with wovels. Gardening is something many people dream of doing at some point during their lives.
